buying a high back booster - cheap Asda one a false economy?

I went to Halfords today to look at high-backed booster seats for my 3 year old dd, and was surprised to find that they all seemed much of a muchness, irrespective of price. I can't find any meaningful research online, so can't compare safety ratings etc. Asda sell a Graco booster chair for £25. Can anyone tell me if this is an ok buy? Would you recommend anything else? Thank you!

Ive got the Graco one. Got it from Adsa too so its prob the same on, and its great. Lightweight and easy to put together/fit so recommended here!

I would not recommend this seat side impact protection is really poor and this is one of the main reasons for buying a high back booster. You can pick up a decent Britax one which has a much higher safety rating for not much more in price, as a lot of colours are now being discontinued so are being reduced in price.

my sister bought a disney princess graco one for her dd,its not got anywhere near as much support as the britax hi-liners i have, the headrest is pretty much non-existant too,
the britax seats were on offer when i got them £20 in halfords,

Thanks for your thoughts everyone... I'm no further forward really, not sure what to do. Think I'll see whether Halfords have any other offers on at the moment... thanks again!

TK Maxx often have high backed boosters in at a fraction of normal costs.

We have had 2 of the ASDA Gracco ones and our kids love them. Narrow enough that they don't move around and very comfy to fall asleep in on long journeys.
