Car & buggy hating 12 week old

At what age did your baby stop hating the car seat & buggy? Is there anything I can do to help. He will be fine in the car seat sometimes for about 10mins. My mum has just moved and it’s around a 35min drive and I’m already stressed at the thought of it. Also we have the Buggaboo Fox 2 pram and still using the carrycot bit due to his age but we don’t get very long in there before he becomes unsettled too. Contemplating moving him to the seat to see if it makes any difference. Would love to go a walk and not have to head home or carry him etc. I am soo hoping this is just a phase. I also have a 4 year old and never had these issues. Totally took for granted that he never had an issue with either.

My DD HATED the car at this age too, and the carrycot. She would scream and scream.

With the car we actually stopped using it as much, and I'd time any trips to be just before her nap, so she'd be too tired to complain.

In terms of the pram, we switched to the seat around 3.5 months but kept it reclined and inwards facing. She loved it straight away 😂

My firstborn got used to prams and car seats around 4 months - especially when I started using a stroller where he was more upright. My second child is just under 12 weeks and he still hates both. He lives in his carrier which is strapped onto me, while I'm growing a hunchback.

My DS hated his car seat. Turns out he was getting way too hot in it. Was cautious with DD and she’s been fine. Could it be that?
