Which car seats are compatible with a Silver Cross Wayfarer?

We have a Silver Cross Wayfarer from our daughter. At the time we didn’t know too much about car seat safety and were very naive, we were given a silver cross simplicity car seat and I was never happy with it, it just doesn’t seem supportive at all. I just assumed that this was the only car seat compatible with the pram. Does anyone know if other brands are? Google says there are a few but I’d rather hear people’s experiences before I risk buying a seat that doesn’t fit. I have the adapters already

There's a car seat safety group on Facebook that may be able to help with it and recommend.

If your adapters look like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/206305335919

You can only use the Silver Cross Simplicity or Dream car seats with it. IIRC Silver Cross did have a more recent newborn insert which you could add into the older seats which gave a better position - if you write to their customer service, I expect they could advise.

If they look like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/168623294100

They are multi-brand ones which means they use the more widely compatible connector which works with all the major brands - Maxi Cosi, Cybex, Britax, Joie, Avionaut, Nuna, Besafe.

You could of course buy the latter adapter if you wanted to use another brand of seat, but they are fairly expensive, and there seem to be different kinds on ebay so I'd probably want to check with the customer services for sure which one you need before you buy something that isn't compatible.
