Cosy n Safe Excalibur i-Size recline...

Has anyone got the Cosy n Safe Excalibur i-size car seat?

Is the recline actually decent? I've heard there is a bit on the bottom that can be flipped on to make the recline even better...

My husband's van seats are SO upright that we are struggling to get a decent recline and our son not get head flop.

Thanks

Yes it does look like it has this if you look at the manual online, or the company's promo video about the seat on their website. It also has 5 recline positions.

It is a forward facing only seat, not sure if that will be an issue for you, depending on the age of your child. Legally they can use this seat from 15 months or older, but personally I would be reluctant to use a forward facing seat for a child under 2 unless there are extremely compelling reasons. The recline offered on FF seats also tends to be less than the recline on RF seats.

Does the van have top tether? As the seat does require isofix and top tether fitting in the 5 point harness mode.

We had this seat and I really liked it. It does recline, if you imagine a basic plane seat recline (in the old days 😂)
