Cosatto giggle 4 / Tote 0

We've got the Cosatto giggle 4 system which includes the Tote 0 car seat. The seat has adaptors to attach it to the pram chassis which I've fitted but now I can't remove them which means putting the car seat in the car to use belted isn't working as the seat won't sit flat.

I've looked on the Cosatto website and can't see any instructions on how to take them off but they must be removable somehow.

There's no button to push in. Any ideas?

Not sure if this helps - this is from the manual. It looks like there is a button on the car seat itself which should detach it from the adapters. It's probably easier to do this if it's attached to the pram, if you can't easily get it back on the pram, you might need two people.

Oh hang on I've just figured out what you mean. Did you put the adapters into the car seat first? Usually you would put the adapters into the pram frame, and then put the car seat on and off like that

Thanks the diagrams are so unclear! I can't remember what I did first, likely into the pram chassis. I might have to pick to the pram shop and ask them

Ah yes they will be able to show you. I couldn't find a video unfortunately, but from what I saw, it seems to be a little grey oval on the side just where the hood is attached. My interpretation of the diagram is that you don't quite press the oval in like a push button, but sort of slide it downwards in order to release the clips from the adapters. Probably easiest if the adapters are secured in place by being clicked onto the frame or held by a second person. Gravity might not be enough to dislodge them because they can be quite light.
