Egg 3 with besafe travel system

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has/had the egg3 with the be safe go beyond car seat?
My baby is 4.5months old now and has not like the carseat and has been getting her arms out of the straps since 3 months old, which is particularly alarming when I'm driving alone! I bought a new car seat today and she's already much happier in it and it's much better. When in the baby shop, they mentioned the egg stroller is from 6 months, but my baby grew out of it a month ago and I didn't realise the stroller had min. age of 6 months. No wonder the shoulder pads are way too big and she looks so uncomfortable!! Has anyone any suggestions how to make her more comfortable? Or should I buy a new stroller system?

Are you asking if it's compatible? It is, the multi-brand car seat adapters for Egg prams work with Besafe seats Smile

I don't know about the stroller seat unit, sorry.

I have an egg (not 3) but if you get the adapters you can use many car seats with it, I also put DD in the pram seat from 5 months and was fine, that being said, she’s now 16 months and we still struggle with her taking her arms out of the straps no matter how tight we do them, I have been looking at anti escape straps/clips, perhaps you could look into them

Sorry, I posted the above hastily and couldn't edit it. So I have rewritten below.

Hi all, just some info if anyone is considering the Egg3 with BeSafe go beyond car seat.

I do NOT recommend the besafe car seat. My baby is 4.5months old now and has not liked the carseat at all. She has cried so much in it, the straps don't fit her shoulders in that they keep slipping down and has been getting her arms out of the straps since 3 months old, which is particularly alarming when I'm driving alone! The visor is really loud when pulling it down to shade baby and had woken her up several times. Also to pull it out in lay flat position is not easy - really have to tug hard, which also wakes her! I bought a new car seat today (cybex) and she's already much happier in it and it's much better - no loud noises when pulling the visor down, it swivels on the base so much easier, and is just better quality, softer and more comfortable straight away and I definitely don't think she will get out of the straps. Just said I'd let anyone considering it know.

Now, in relation to the Egg3 itself, the carrycot is small even though the sales person said all the carrycots are same size across the brands and told suitable up to 6 months. My baby grew out of this at 3 months at 60cm tall. she can touch the top and bottom and also it is too narrow. She is not a huge baby, weighing 12lbs at 3 months. And definitely not the same size across all carrycots as I put her in the Cybex Priam carrycot today and she has lots of room in it and would still be in it had I gotten that system.

I have had to put her in the stroller/pushchair already but the shoulder pads are HUGE and can't be removed and she just looks so uncomfortable. I only found out today that the stroller is suitable from 6months which explains why she's uncomfortable and shoulder pads are so big. So disappointed in the Egg and don't recommend it for anyone looking for advice on it, I really regret my purchase and so expensive too!

Can anyone advise how to make it more comfortable for her until she is 6 months? Or am I best to buy a pushchair suitable from newborn for her? thanks
