Light for car seat for dark evenings

Hi all,

I have a 15 month old and now that it's dark at 4pm, our regular late afternoon drives are quite challenging as she cannot see her usual books and toys to occupy her.

I'd rather postpone screen time in the car if possible and wondering if anyone has put a light on their car-seat to help with visibility?

We don't have any rear lights in our current car (and of course, these can be a safety hazard so thinking something with a more limited area might work).

Thanks!

I tried clipping on a reading light to the headrest - it worked ok-ish on the dimmed setting

BeSafe do a mirror with an in-built light which you attach to the headrest. It’s crash tested so safe to use. I’d be wary of attaching anything else as if it’s not securely fastened it could injure your child or another passenger if it became loose in an accident.
I’d also avoid attaching anything to your child’s car seat as it could prevent the seat from doing its job in an accident.
