Oyster car seat inserts

Hi everyone,

hope you can help because I am so confused. I have taken the inserts out of my oyster car seat but now it looks odd 😫 I’ve attached photos for reference. Have I done something wrong? It seems weird that there are holes where the seatbelt is.

No, that all looks fine :) How old is baby? I see there isn't much info in the manual about the inserts.

There are a couple of demo videos on youtube where there is a little patch covering where the shoulder straps come out, is that the square piece you've got in there or maybe you've taken that bit out by mistake?
