Anyone successfully got 3 seats in Tucson?

Hiya
We have a 2019 Tucson and about to have baby number 3, the others are 4 and 6, so we really need to be able to fit:

• a high back booster
• a booster
• a baby car seat

We are looking at whether we can make it work before we purchase a 7 seater. Any help or advice appreciated.

What about that thing that's one long seat with 3 integrated seats to the requirement you need? Apologies I can't find the name!!

I think that’s one of the cars that can’t take three in a row, only option would be one in the passenger seat but if it’s 2.5 seats in the back rather than 3 full ones which I think it is, it’s then too tight for an adult to sit between the seats.

the only way you will do it is with one in the front and 2 children and an adult in the back.

we tried every which way with ours and then swapped the car for a 7 seater just before number 3 arrived!

The Tuscon is only a 4 seater so you will only get 2 in the back, one in the front, it’s not really a family car for small children.

Just get yourself a MultiMac. You could have up to 4 seats that way.

I've got a large HBB and two boosters across the back of a 2019 Tucson easily but I think the baby seat might make it a squeeze unless you have a very tolerant child willing to sit in the middle.

It would definitely work with the HBB or booster in the front and an adult in the back. How far off 22kg is the 4 year old?

No advice on the car but please reconsider putting your 6 year old in a booster. At 6 they would be much better protected in a HBB as they they need the side impact protection and head support. A booster seat simply helps with belt positioning over the pelvis and should only be used once they out grow a HBB.
