Cosatto All In All Rotato 360

Recently bought the cosatto all in all rotate 360 and am having issues with the length of the isofix arms and them not extending and clipping into place. It's really difficult to rotate and the car seat rubs up against the fabric of my backseat so after time it will eventually wear each other down. Is this a common problem or did I just buy the wrong seat!?

It is quite normal for the car seat to rub against your seats and this will happen in any of the rotating seats without a rebound bar. It doesn't seem to cause a huge amount of wear (we have a different seat but it still does that).

Isofix arms not clicking in is a much more serious problem. Can you not get them to connect at all?

They click in and it's firmly in place, it just seemed a but strange that it's so tight and hard to rotate. My friend has a joie 360 rotate seat and hers moves back and clicks in place so that there is more leg space as they get older and sit rear facing. I just wondered if I had missed something in the fitting instructions.

@BertieBotts sorry, I did make it sound like the arms weren't connecting didn't I? I meant whether the base would sit further back away from the back seat on the anchor points but it doesn't seem to. 🤷

Ah OK, no, that sounds normal. In fact the Joie 360 is unusual in this, and later versions of the same seat do not have that function.

In the scenario of a crash you really want the child seat to be very snug up against the backrest of the vehicle seat, because it helps prevent the seat from rebounding which can cause injury. These types of seat are not the best for rear facing leg room, though. For better leg room you want something like Axkid Move or if a spin is important then a spin seat with separate anti-rebound bar (like Britax Dualfix).
