Our baby is 11 months. We’ve just got this car seat and it looks good but when he inevitably falls asleep in the car, it doesn’t seem right. It’s far too upright I think so his head ends up lolling forward or he ends up chin to chest.

It mentions on the website it can recline but then it just says it’s using the newborn inset which he is now too big/tall for.

any ideas? Or is this just what happens now in these seats?
thank you in advance.

You can usually go back to your retailer for fitting support. That is part of what you pay for.

Some of these seats which last a long time, the insert is not just for newborns (up to 3 months), sometimes the insert is for the whole infant stage (up to approx 15 months)

Margaret normally has good videos explaining things like recline and inserts :)
