Jaguar F-Pace + Audi A6 Avant Space

Hiya,
We’re currently looking to buy a larger car that’s future proofed enough for 2 kids and have some concerns about the space in the back for x2 car seats.

We were looking at the BMW 3 series estate and have written it off as a friend said when her husband drives and has the seat all the way back the second car seat no longer fits behind him so has to go in the front leaving her sat in the back!

We don’t want that situation but it’s really hard to find information online on the back seat space of car models when front seats are fully back to judge. My partner always needs seats fully back as has long legs.

Does anyone have experience of the petrol Jaguar F-Pace or the Audi A6 estate in this configuration? So driver seat all the way back and standard car seat behind it? We’ve bought the Cybex Cloud T if that’s useful at all.

Take the car seat to the showroom and ask if you can fit it in the car. They are usually fine with this IME.

The Skoda superb is pretty much the best for cabin space for 2 car seats. Loads of legroom in the back means it's much easier to fit car seats in, especially if you want to do extended rear facing.

Yes, we have an F pace and two 360 rotating car seats in the back with the isofix base and support leg. Both can rotate fully when the front seats are in the usual position with no need to move them forwards. DH is 6ft5 and so also has long legs and it works well for us. I can also sit comfortably in the middle between the two car seats and still get my seat belt on etc.

I also have the Jaguar F Pace and 2 kids, just took my 360 spin oht as she's outgrown, had a high back booster for eldest too and could still fit in the middle. Both tall and loads of space and big boot. Nice car
