Joie I-Snug 2 Isofix Base

Hey,
I recently bought the Joie I-Snug 2 car seat for the little one we are expecting. I'm looking to buy an isofix base for the cat seat but can't seem to find out the compatibility for them.

Some websites say the original Joie I-base is compatible, but some say I need the Joie I-base 2. Could anyone please confirm if the original I-Base is compatible with the I-Snug 2? Does anyone use this combination?

Joie is unusual in that most of their bases and seats are cross compatible. However, I can't find an official compatability between these two. It might be that it is (because the older i-Snug definitely was) but all the references refer to i-Base 2 because they were released at the same time. But it might also be that they changed something about the base and the seat at the same time.

If you want to be 100% sure and you're ordering both from different shops or getting the i-Base from a trusted friend, I'd advise sending an email to Joie to double check.

If it's just a cheaper base you are after, the Clickfit one does fit the i-Snug 2 and is only £80 but it is seatbelt fit not isofix.
