Hey guys, just got this seat. I've taken the infant insert out as my son is 18 months and will be sat in rear facing position. But now I'm confused should the back seat padding be folded underneath him or pulled out fully. Which picture is correct below? One the padding is folded up and in the other photo its spread down to it's full length.Thanks. He is roughly 12kg.

It's the one on the left, not folded under. You might also need the wedge in - these are funny seats and the inserts stay in longer than they do in other seats. Children really vary in this, we have the Joie 360 Spin and DS2 really should have had the wedge in until closer to age 2 looking back at photos whereas DS3 was sort of sitting on top of it by about 14 months and needed it taking out, even though he was physically a bit smaller than DS2 was at the same age. Confusing. Anyway, it's worth separating the insert out into its parts and trying out the wedge part which is the last part to remove, try with and without.

This lady's videos are normally really good so should have some useful info in there too.
