car seat stress

Hi all i need some advice ,

due my twins in April 3 weeks to be exact we have sorted the car seats out and put them in car we have a ford Astra. But i also have a 4 year old who requires a car seat as well i cannot for the life of me find a car seat that fits in the middle between the two hauck baby car seats we have been looking in diffrent stores all day and can’t seem to find anything. Worst comes to worse we will have to take one of the iso fixes off and put one of the twins car seats in the middle but would rather not. If anyone has any suggestions for a car seat that would be suitable for my 4 year old and fit in the middle that would be great

What kind of car seat is your 4yo in - a high backed booster, or a harnessed seat?

What seats have you tried so far?

Legally you can put 4yo in the middle with no seat at all - but would not recommend this, as the belt won't fit them properly.

Taking the baby seats off the isofix bases, or fixing the bases with seatbelt (if that's an option for these bases) will give you more wiggle room.
