Britax Dualfix M - help please

Hello,

had to wash the material cover of the car, it’s gone back one all correct but in doing so I now can’t tighten the straps, as I opened them quite a lot, held down the button thing that you press to open then and tried everything I can think off.

what haven’t I thought of to do to try and solve it? Was feeling smug on getting it all back quite quickly, not so much now.

OK don't panic!

Likely the straps or the tightening strap have got caught on something when you've put the cover back in place. My guess would be the fabric pads might have been reattached in such a way they are holding the straps rather than letting them free flow perhaps - I'd check this first.

Otherwise, you might have accidentally done this:

If no luck, contact either Britax or the place you bought the seat from if it's a specialist and ask if they can contact you by video call (e.g. whatsapp) to assist, as it's likely going to be easiest to fix from actually seeing the seat.

Hi there sorry to jump on this post however I currently have the same issue where my straps on my daughters britax romer dualfix m plus will not tighten and I can't seem to find a way to open the compartment on the back. Any ideas?
