My Nania SEATY 360 car seat has been recalled. I have been asked to send them a photo of it having been totally distroyed. I have only been offered €30 as compensation, but it should have lasted for a child up to 11 years. It will cost a lot more for a new seat. Has anyone followed this up please?

What does the recall say?
Who has done the recall?
Have you not to return to the retailer?

What country are you in if you don't mind me asking? I can't find any info about this in English and given the currency I am wondering if it's a specific country recall. I can try to direct you to a car seat safety agency for the country you're in which might be able to help.

Another option is to ask on the Facebook group CSFTL UK/EU. (Car Seats for the Littles) as they are quite a large organisation covering all of EU.

I've just received contact via amazon from teamtex in France who manufacture these seats ..I have sent pics showing that the serial number is in the range of recall ...so far no response ..I've tried a couple more emails ti gee them up but still nothing..I take my granddaughter to school every day and I am concerned that this seat is unsafe .
I am now going to insist amazon get involved and will phone the French manufacturer too
Will let you know how I get on

Can you share any info about the recall? I would like to share it on some other car seat safety pages.

In the meantime this is a good high backed booster seat if your granddaughter is over age 4 and over 15kg.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Graco-Highback-cupholders-Suitable-100-150cm/dp/B0BMGNDJHV/ref=sr_1_4?crid=Z3IPQK7REVFT&keywords=graco+r129&qid=1705165897&s=baby&sprefix=graco+r129%2Cbaby%2C92&sr=1-4

Make sure you purchase the R129 version and not the R44 version. It conforms to the newer safety regulation and is based on the Joie Trillo seat which has received a good safety rating.

Hi
Many thanks for your suggestion I will.look to replace the seat this week.
The recall I had is a safety issue but no details of fault given .
They have given a range of serial numbers that are affected and mine is in the range .
The request from them is a pic of the serial number to be sent then wait for further instructions but this is sketchy to say the least .
I have contacted them twice via email to push their rectification plan but received no acknowledgement other than an out of office reply, I have now reported the issue to amazon too .
Don't mind sharing this post as it's a safety issue and requires immediate attention in my view...
Do I use the seat ?
Am I insured ?
Are they sending a upgrade?
Are they refunding?
Are they part refunding ?
Perhaps some pressure on amazon would help to get some answers?

I've just been contacted by the company, who are now sending a box and instructions where to send the seat back for the faulty part to be replaced.
