Cybex - Beeping!

Hello! Just wondered if anyone has had a similar problem as we are struggling to find any advice anywhere. We have a Cybex Cloud Z2 car seat and Isofix Base.

We had to remove the base from our car yesterday and now we have re installed it, it won’t stop beeping! 3 lights are showing and it seems secure… we have tried moving it around, taking the battery out etc…

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you adjusted the height of the ‘leg’? Sometimes it is just at a slightly different angle when replaced?

The foot of the leg isn't flat enough for it to stop beeping. They normally have a button that has to but pushed down on the floor to stop it beeping. Make sure you push the base fully into the isofix points as well so the base doesn't move.

It beeps to say that it's not installed properly. Check that both isofix points are correctly connected and that the leg is pulled out as far towards the front of the car as it goes and is extended long enough to be firm on the floor, then it should stop beeping.

Thanks for your replies - we’ve tried amending the height of the leg, the foot is flat on the floor, it’s fully secure / as it usually is. Now thinking it may have developed a fault as not sure there’s anything else we can do!

Did you buy online or from a physical retailer? If physical, it's worth taking it there and letting them have a look.

If you're in any doubt about the fitting then it would be worth fitting the car seat with seatbelt for now (not on the base at the same time).

The only thing I can think is maybe the leg hasn't been pulled out to quite the right angle? It can have a bit of resistance before it clicks into the right position. (Don't force it though).
