Car seats that recline?

We currently have joie steadi for my 2 year old. Everytimes he's in the car having a sleep his head goes forward all the time really floppy we're fed up with it at this point.... is there any car seats out there that recline in forward facing mode to accommodate child sleeping? Thanks.

There should be three recline settings on the Steadi that you can use in forward facing mode, and then the most reclined setting which can be used in rear facing mode. If you switched him back to rear facing, that would give you more of a recline and also be safer for him.

If you're not keen on doing this - have you checked if the headrest is at the right height? It should be that his head can rest to the side when he's sleeping.

If you wanted to look at other seats then I'd go to your nearest child/baby stuff shop and try them out there, it will be hard to judge recline angles without actually trying them in your car unfortunately.

Maxi Cosi, Britax, Silver Cross and Recaro make good forward facing seats.
