What to buy?

Hi, hoping for some advice.

DC1 will be 3 soon and is in a Joie ispin 360. Forward facing. Happy with it.

DC2 will be 9 months and is out growing the infant capsule.

Do I buy a new seat for DC1 and move the baby into the ispin 360? If so what forward facing seat would you recommend for a 3 year old (average height and weight)? Car would fit two ispin 360s but would probably mean no one could sit between them. Is there a good option that would last without having to buy a new HBB when he is ready for it?

Or buy a new seat for the baby and keep DC3 in the ispin 360. If so what seat would you recommend? Both rear and forward facing.

Please no comments about rear facing being safer for DC1. I'm well informed but it's not a viable option for us for DC1 for medical reasons.

As you're forward facing already and assuming 3yo is around 95-100cm/16kg, I wouldn't bother with another spin seat, it will just be outgrown too soon. Move the baby into the iSpin, so they stay rear facing for now.

I'd look at one of the 123 type seats which convert to high backed booster.

Britax Evolvafix, Silver Cross Balance i-Size, Maxi Cosi Titan Pro i-Size would all be my top options, assuming that the weight and height is about correct and you're happy to change to high backed booster in about 12-18 months.

Ideally, check the fit in a store before you buy so you can ensure that there is still at least a bit of growing room in the 5 point harness.

They all need top tether.

If you don't have top tether
> Recaro Tian Elite is a good alternative.

If your DC is on higher centiles or you want to harness for longer (possibly relevant with medical needs?)
> Joie Bold is a good option, harnesses up to 25kg/long height

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed. Will check out those recommendations
