Hi,
I have the Joie Group 0+ car seat and was wondering when it’s recommended to take the newborn insert out of the car seat. TIA!

You need to check the manual but it's about 15 lbs

Google says until they are 6 months or have outgrown the insert.

You can find the manual online if you’ve lost yours.

Different page says about 5-6 months so I'd so whichever is later

It completely depends on the seat, because they all have different inserts. Which Joie seat do you have?

Rule of thumb with Joie is leave it in until it's awkward to use and then take out, most of their inserts are multi-part ones, but they do vary. The size of your baby also makes a difference.

You want your car seat to be snug fitting to the baby, I've heard it described as like a crash helmet for their whole body.
