Kia Sportage 3 car seat configuration?

📌car seat configuration 🤷‍♀️

Hello all. Please help. We have a 4 year old, a nearly 2 year old and newborn.

We currently have two joie 360s and are trying to figure out how to configure a third car seat in our 2014 Kia Sportage. Anyone have success fitting 3 car seats in the back of this car? If so which ones have you got? We are happy to buy new ones so we can get them all fitted in but it’s challenging to know which ones to get 🤷‍♀️ any advice is welcome 🙏 we really don’t want to change car too! TIA xxx

Also, the graco booster does not have a back and I am putting it in the middle for easier access to small children.

That Radian seat is a US one - are you in the US? Most members here are in the UK and our car seats are different.

We are currently working around this. We bought the 2023 Kia Sportage last year before we found out we were expecting a third. The only thing I have found so far is the diono radian 3R slim fit since each one is from birth to booster. My oldest is almost 8 so we switched her to a graco booster though but it would be easier if I would have gotten another diono. My middle child's seat is getting here today. The only thing is that these are longer car seats so it will restrict driver and passenger room to be rear facing. When I install it tomorrow, I will try to update. I refuse to trade in this car at this point.

Yes, please update to how you get on with the fit. Hope it goes smoothly for you! 🤞I totally agree that changing the car is an extreme solution.

In our 2022 Sportage we can fit 2 avionaut sky q car seats and an infant carrier. All belted. The 2 Avionauts and a besafe izi flex isize are also possible. Avionauts are a pain to install but the place we bought them from were able to install them. In our manual we can have a car seat in the middle seat. It may not be the case with older models.
