Isofix locators - how do you get them out??

I put the isofix locator (plastic guides) in when I originally installed our (joie 360) car seat but now I want to move the seat to the other side, I can’t get them out, how is it done? Can’t find any help on Google or you tube!

They have little hooks inside them that will be linked onto the isofix bars, so push in and kind of angle them up or down and they should pop off. The picture I've attached should help.

They are also optional so you don't need them to move the seat. 🙂 They are just helpful if you have really stiff seat fabric, to make the isofix bars more accessible. You can safely install the seat without them if your isofix is already accessible. I do find for the Joie 360 they can help a bit with the wobble it has in some cars.

Just one more thought - are they the Joie ones that came with the seat (in which case, definitely removable) or does your car have them built in (in which case, likely not!) Some modern cars have these plastic surrounds exposing the isofix already, and if that's the case you don't take them out, but the other side would have them too.

I found with the joie ones you have to proper push down on them to pop them off as their really stiff to get undone. Good luck!
