What is the best (i.e. safest) car seat/brand on the market for group 1+?

I've got a budget of c.£110 (could go up a bit, but not by much)
I'd ideally like the seat to grow with my DD through the stages
I'd prefer Isofix (unless this isn't as major a factor as I have in my mind when it comes to car seat safety?)

What are the best ones out there please?

(UK based)

How old is your baby now and do you know how much she weighs?

£110 is a fairly tight budget, and for this budget I'd be looking at rear facing seats as the forward facing seats in this budget are fairly flimsy, which doesn't matter as much for rear facing.

I would recommend not to bother with a seat that goes through all the stages. You only have two stages left to go: The "big car seat" stage where you strap them into the seat and the seat is affixed into the car. This could be rear facing or forward facing or something like a spin seat which does both. The last stage is high backed booster stage. When you get out of the big bulky strap-them-in car seat and get to a booster (which are much slimmer and more lightweight) it's such a relief! So you're shooting yourself in the foot a bit by tying yourself now to a booster that is the size of one of those big bulky seats.

There are lots of seats on the market now which claim to go through all the stages but I don't think they do this very well.

Isofix is not a huge factor in safety. The biggest factor in safety is rear facing. If you can keep her rear facing this will do more for her safety than an isofix seat would.

That said, I'd look at the following:

Joie Stages
BabyAuto Dupla
Graco Turn2Me
Britax Two Way Elite
Axkid Move
