Hi all,

We bought the britax romer dualfix 2 years ago for DS1 but he only went in it from 6 months so we never used the infant part. However due in 4 weeks with second child and we’ve put the infant part in but it doesn’t seem to allow for a very flat recline and we’re concerned about babies head flipping forwards. Has anyone got this car seat and used with newborn? Should it have a wedge in or something to prop their bum up more? Thanks in advance x

It's not the best one for newborns as the recline isn't very good. Additionally if you have the original Dualfix (not i-size) then the 5 point harness doesn't go small enough for newborns.

You might be better off starting with an infant carrier and move to the Dualfix at around 6 months again.
