Maxi-Cosi Marble + Bugaboo Fox 2?

Can anyone weigh in on whether or not the Maxi-Cosi Marble baby car seat is compatible with the Bugaboo Fox2? I emailed Bugaboo to double check, as their website says that only Maxi-Cosi Pebble varieties are compatible, and they replied that they can't recommend that combination, as it hasn't been tested for safety by their "specialists" yet. I assume this is because the Maxi-Cosi Marble is new. Other customers have reported that the two are compatible, as all Maxi-Cosi car seats use the same adapters. Just curious if anyone has used this combination and found that it indeed works. Thank you!

Best thing to do would be contact your nearest Bugaboo and/or Maxi Cosi stockist as they may well have both items in stock and can check for you :) If you look on either brand's website for stockists, choose anything that doesn't sound like a chain - independents are more likely to do this for you.

But I'm 99% sure it will work, there's no reason why it wouldn't.

Thanks, @BertieBotts, for that feedback!

Curious to know if anyone else has tried this combination?

I’ve not tried that combination but I know sometimes with the bugaboo (and I guess others) that it sometimes comes down to the weight of the car seat. I had a fox and and cybex cloud originally and it worked very well. As DD got older I changed to a Bee and noticed that if I’d got that one originally I wouldn’t have been able to use the cloud on it due to the weight. Have a look at the weight of the Marble and compare it to the weight of the Cloud - if it fits on the adapters and doesn’t weigh more than the cloud it should be fine if you can’t find an answer from a reputable source.

Thanks for that tip, voxnihili! I'll definitely do that. =)
