Humongous three year old

Hello,

Wondering if anyone could help me with my options. My three year old son is a giant, 110cm and 25kg. We need a new car seat. Are unharnessed seats my only option that aren't horrifically expensive?

Yes unfortunately so.

As he's younger I'd go for something like Britax Kidfix which has an extra guard for the seatbelt to help prevent him slipping under it if you had a crash.

You could go for Klippan Opti 129, which is up to 125cm and 32kg, it's a rear facing seat with 5 point harness. But it does cost £425 - assuming that comes under horrifically expensive? I think it would last him a while though as he's only 110cm at the moment. Probably a good 2-3 years, if that makes any difference at all.
