Hi,
Does anyone have this car seat and isize base that can help?! The Side Impact Protection (SIP) wings that deploy from the base when you put the car seat in, can these be pushed back down so you don't have SIP? The car list says my car is compatible without SIP but not with SIP so just wondering before I open the box incase I need to return it. Can it be used with SIP and without SIP?

Hi, hope this isn't too late! Yes they can be closed if you don't need them. It's designed so you close it on the side away from the door, so that it doesn't interfere with a middle seat passenger's space but you can also close it on the door side, if it doesn't fit.
