Baby / child car seats

We are expecting our first child in March and I needed some advice on car seats. We already bought an age 0-4 car seat that spins 360 degrees but is fixed in the car. My other half's sister suggested we buy a 0+ seat with handle as well as it makes it easier and more seamless switching to and from car.

Based on experience, is it worth having this type of seat which I believe will only last approximately 15 months?

TIA

Yes definitely worth it for when your baby falls asleep in the car and you want to nip in the supermarket or even you've got home. You don't want to be disturbing a sleeping baby

Group 0+ seats generally offer a better recline for newborns too as opposed to 360 seats as older babies tend to prefer to be upright. It doesn’t have to be expensive either, joie Juva is a basic infant seat for only £40, Maxi Cosi city isnt that much more expensive. Also worth bearing in mind if (obviously restrictions permitting!) if you plan to travel with baby that an infant carrier can be more useful to travel/go on holiday with as a general it can be better to have a travel seat (and I can imagine lugging a 360 seat around an airport wouldn’t be fun!), and some infant carriers are HUGE so can be used for rather long
