Does anyone own a Recaro Young Sport Hero? Advice please

Hi.If anyone owns this seat can they offer up some help. When the headrest is on its lowest seating it does not budge. When we've gone to move it up one notch (it also does it the one above that too),the head rest rocks side to side badly. There is also some front to back movement. Is this normal? I can't fund any contact details for recaro at all!! I can try attaching a video if required.

I don't think they are currently trading in the UK which might be your issue. Here's their contact form, though:

It is quite normal for it to be more stable in the lower position because it will be more "cocooned" by the rest of the seat. You will get more movement from a high backed booster seat than a harnessed seat.

This is a bit dark but maybe you can see if it looks similar to how yours is?

I tried that contact page again and finally got it to work. No reply as of yet. Im doubtful there will be either as when i tried the phone number it wasn't valid. Took the seat to the retailer for advice and they had no clue - told me to contact the retailer. At my wits end!!

Thanks. They are so elusive. I've got Halfords on the case now, although they keep giving me the same details that don't work! They aren't sold by recaro anymore, but under licence from the people who own chicco. I've tried them too but got no reply either.

This video is a bit clearer although it's not showing exactly what you are asking - you can see the headrest looks quite solid even on the middle and higher headrest slots, so I think there might be a problem with your seat.
