Car seat dilemma

So a bit of background...

I have had my heart set on the Cosatto giggle 3 pushchair ever since I started trying for a baby. Something I neglected to realise though is that the car seat that comes with the pushchair bundle isn't compatible with our car! With this in mind, I was thinking of getting the pushchair and car seat separately.
My partner has a very bad back so we were looking at the rotate car seats (unsure which, would appreciate ideas!)
Not sure if I'm overthinking it or not but these cannot be moved out of the car so each time we get in and out the car we'd have to take baby in and out of the car seat. Is this going to be a drama does anyone think? Has anyone used these car seats from birth and what are your thoughts/suggestions?
It's also worth noting that it's only my partner that drives, so travel with baby in our car will probably only be at weekends.
Being a first time mum is a minefield, all help appreciated - thank you! Smile

I had the Joie 360 and used it from the day we brought DD home from the hospital. I have no regrets and will do it with the next one. Young babies aren't supposed to spend too long in car seats. By the time you factor in the time spent getting to and from any place, the remaining time you could have them in the seat isn't much.

We got snuggl bundle blankets which go in the car seat under the baby. They support the head and neck and have handles to lift them out. If DD fell asleep on our way to a place I could lift the blanket with her in it and place it in the pram without waking her.

We had a doona car seat pushchair for our little one, we also had a Pram. We used the car seat pushchair for short journeys and if we knew we would be out for a while we transferred her to the pram x

We have the maxi coat mica. Yes I’m sure occasionally it would seem easier to be able to lift baby straight out in car seat, but it’s never been an issue so far.

The 30 mins thing means that we can’t even go to town, turn straight around and back so would be pointless for us. It’s a 35 min drive one way to town min. So then I like to take baby out into arms, sling, pram before drive back.

What car do you have? The infant seat that comes with the Giggle looks like a big standard infant seat.
