Hi all, looking for some advice 😌

I am due with my OH and I’s first child together in just over four weeks. We also adopted my nephew last year after his parents died in a car crash 🄺😢 (he is almost two).

He is currently in a maxicosy Toby in OH’s car and in a britax king in my car. We also have two bases for the cybex cloud z for our DC. Which side should each child be on? TIA! Xx

Whichever side makes it easier to get both children out. I would think about where you park and then I would have the bigger one closest to you and then the seat with the base furthest away (I found it easier to reach over to clip the baby seat in than to reach over to try and fasten the seat of the bigger one)

Put the baby in the opposite corner to you so you can see them if you have a mirror on their seat headrest, and put the toddler behind you so he can’t see when you’re eating and then you don’t have to share your snacks Grin

What we've done is older dd behind driver (me) and younger who is 10 months behind the passenger seat solely because I have the baby mirror fitted and find it easier and less distracting to keep an eye on youngest through the mirror if she starts crying whilst I'm driving.

I put my DD diagonally opposite the driver when she was a baby. I could lean back then (whilst stationary obviously) and stick a dummy in her mouth again or see her in the mirrors we set up.

She’s now 6.5 and sits behind the driver’s seat because she has plenty of leg room that way. DD2 due in September and will be going behind the passenger seat.

Looks like we’ll be putting baby behind passenger seat. Thanks everyone for the advice xxx

Gosh how awful Flowers

Id put baby on passenger side so When you park on the road you can get baby out of the seat on the pavement and Unplug toddler and he can climb over so also getting out on pavement.

We also put the baby behind passenger and older child behind driver. Still have this same arrangement 8 years later Grin
