Hi everyone

I have had the joie i gemm for about a year now, and i took the cover off to wash and noticed the polystyrene underneath is cracked. Its never been in an accident or dropped, so im not sure if i might have cracked it while taking off the cover.
Has anyone ever had this? I called joie and they said they’ve never heard of this before. Is it now unsafe to use?
Any advise please!

Joie should be able to replace the polystyrene for you. You can usually tape it together until the replacement arrives, but ask them to confirm this is safe to do. If it's in a critical place it might not be safe to use like that. I've heard of it happening with other seats - BeSafe had a design that was prone to this.
