Maxi cosi cabriofix car seat

Hi all!!

Getting my hospital bag all together and ready to run off in a dash 37 weeks today
Just thought I should probably figure out this car seat and there's a foam square wedge under the strap part of car seat (sorry for awful explanation!!) is this supposed to stay there or do I get rid of before baby goes in there?

Is it a newborn wedge? Is there not an instruction booklet?

The wedge is to keep the baby in a flatter position. You remove it when they're a bit older.

This sounds like the newborn wedge/insert to me (Cabriofix owner) - basically when they are tiny, the seat is too deep without some extra filling. Would need to see a pic to be sure though!

I think it's the newborn wedge. The instructions were hidden behind a panel on mine, I found them 18 months later.
There's a video on youtube for these things, much easier and you don't miss some feature like rain cover
