Car seat for a small car

I have a Vauxhall Adam and I'm looking for a car seat for when my ds outgrows his infant carrier.

Obviously space is limited in the Adam so I'm struggling to find anywhere online that gives advice or recommendations. The car seat advice UK Facebook page is not accepting new posts so I can't ask there.

Can anyone help here? Thanks

I've got a Joie 360 spin in a very small car, I'd highly recommend it.

@Countrylifeornot What car do you have?

Kia Picanto, very small

Have you got an independent car seat retailer nearby where you could try seats? Somewhere like the In Car Safety Centre would be really helpful.

Otherwise I'd probably try a belt fitted seat so that you don't have to take space for the isofix. Something like the Joie Stages if he's not too tall/heavy or the Britax Two Way Elite if he's more than 50th centile.

All the car seat manufacturers have compatibility lists on their websites. Check these before you purchase, if your car model isn't listed then it's not been checked.

The 360 spin is lovely, but it's a very heavy unit.

Xx
