Really need some advice, Mazda 2 car seat.

Hi all, I really need some advice. I have quite a small car (Mazda 2) but really want a extended rear facing car seat. Feel like I'm going round in circles. Looked at the Joie every stage but there's quite a few negative reviews. I like the look of the Graco slimline, I just can't find out if it iscompatible with my car. Has anyone used the Graco Slimline in a Mazda 2 or does anyone have any other car seat suggestions please?

I use a Britax Two Way Elite and an Axkid Minikid in our Fiesta and both fit well.

The Every Stage is a very good seat rear facing but has some concerns forward facing so isn't recommended to be used like that. However, forward facing isn't necessary as rear facing is so much safer until they are 4+ and can go into a high back booster.

What old is your DC and what height and weight centiles do they follow? An 18kg seat might not be a good choice if they are taller/heavier than 50th centile.

I haven't seen the Graco but most 18kg seats are bulkier than the 25kg like the Axkid and Britax TWE so they can be a better choice in a smaller car.

Thank you, that helps so much. My dd is 9 months, in the 90th per centile for weight and 75 for height.

Definitely get a 25kg seat like the Britax or the Axkid then!
