Recommendations for newborn

Hi I was just wondering what car seats everyone would recommend for a newborn, I've had a look on Mothercare but none really seem to stand out with great reviews, which ones did everyone use?

we used the cosatto all in all car seat and it has not disappointed so far. you can read a review on it here x

Infant car seats don't vary as much as other car seats but some score better than others on safety testing. If you search for the ADAC scores, you can see which ones score more highly.

Generally, the better brands will have been tested to higher safety standards than the legal minimum so these are good ones to try in your car. Maxi Cosi, Britax, Joie, Be Safe, Cybex, Kiddy are all worth considering.
