Can anyone please help and tell me what these bits are for, I can't find the manual and google isn't helping. Thank you in advance

For the isofix. Like a cover.

Thank you so much, I use it with a seatbelt not isofix so that explains why I hadn't noticed it before. Was worried it was a really vital part! Thank you

They aren't even needed for isofix :) They are just guides because some isofix points are difficult to see/find. They are optional.
