Maxi cosi 2way headache

I can’t find the answer to this anywhere so I’m hoping someone can help!

I have the maxi cosi 2way base. But it looks as if they’ve all but discontinued the 2way pearl seat and replaced it with the pearl pro + 3way base.

Does anyone know if the new pearl pro seat would work with the 2way base. The bases look exactly the same to me (and they both work with the pebble plus baby seat)

I’m really hoping I haven’t got to buy a new base, if I do maxi cosi can sod off!

Phone them up or message them on Facebook and ask. You should be able to get an answer.

I have definitely heard of people getting the 2waypearl recently though, so keep looking? Usually if you google a product name it brings up a list of online stockists, some of which will have brick and mortar stores if you prefer.

FWIW a lot of group 1 seats don't need a separate base at all. Most of the isofix ones have the isofix permanently attached.

You’ve probably found the answer by now but just in case.. yes the pearl pro works with the 2 way base. Maxi Cosi confirmed this

Got frustrated with the lack of info about 2WayFix so messaged maxi cosi.

The Pearl Pro, Pearl Smart and Pearl One are all compatible with the 2WayFix base Smile
