Going away

Hey,

I'm due to go away with my 18 month old at the end of this month, she's now in the big fitted car seat in the car which is an Isofix, we are buying a spare seatbelt fit one for other people's cars anyway, but should we be taking this with us on holiday?

We will have a coach/taxi transfer to/from the airport, we may have a few taxi journeys but I would think these will be limited

We've only been away with the carry baby case and hire car before so not sure what is best when using the bigger seats

Thanks xx

Legally you're normally ok on coaches and taxis without a car seat. However, that's not the same as safe. A crash in a taxi is just the same as a crash in a car and the chance of injuries/death is just the same.

You can take a car seat in the hold on a flight - boxed in its original packaging is the best advice.
