Silvercross simplicity car seat

So this is the car seat we have for our newborn, it came as part of a bundle so it was convenient as it was compatible with our pram. The problem I’m having with it is that it seems to have really poor support for her head, the straps all seem to be in the correct position so she is sat correctly in the seat but her head flops side to side quite severely as the head support is so wide. Is there something I’m doing wrong or has anyone else had this problem and done something that has rectified it?

Could you buy a separate head hugger to put in the seat?

Something like this?

P.s. I have seen other reviews saying the same about that car seat

That looks like a good option, I didn’t even know these existed. It’s definitely worth a try, thanks.

I have also seen quite a few people mention this too after I’ve done a bit of research into it. It just doesn’t look like a comfortable car seat at all but I’d rather have a go at making it a bit more comfortable before I give in and buy a new one.

I have just got this car seat too. I had a maxi coding before and I'm having trouble with the simplicity. It seems like my baby's head is tilted forward - do I need to remove the wedge / I can't figure out how to move the straps higher? Has anyone had any luck with that? Does anyone have a photo of their baby in it so I can see if I'm doing it right?????

The wedge is under the bum, not sure if removing that would help... I want to remove the wedge for my 4mo old but it looks like I’ll need rip material to remove and there’s nothing on the silver cross website about it that I can find..... my lo HATES being in this seat. I have no other children so can’t properly compare, but I know if I had another baby I’d consider buying a maxi così one
