Hi I am looking to buy a car seat for my baby due in November. I have been reading along and have found this car seat to be the one I like as it also lies down for long journeys. Has anyone had one? If so what did you think? It's been about 8 yrs since I last bought a car seat and it's all changed so much 😭 Xx

It's much safer for babies to travel rear facing than side facing. If you join the Facebook group 'car seat advice uk' a few people have asked about this kind of seat and the experts have said that they'd be much safer in a rear facing seat.

How long will the journeys you're doing be? And how frequently?

This car seat dose both rear facing and side facing. Our holidays are normally down south so it's can take us up to 5 hours to get to our destination. I will join the group thank you Xx

If you're going to use the seat as a carrycot on the pram and then use it rear facing in the car, it might be a good buy but it really isn't that safe for them to side face so even on a longer journey, you'd be better rear facing and stopping frequently.

It's a shame because it's a good idea but the force on their necks in a crash side facing is much greater than rear facing.
