Car seat with harness for 4 year old

Hi.

DS is almost 4 and has grown out of the harness in his car seat. He can get out of the seat belt too easily when the car seat is used with that.

Are there any harnessed car seats for bigger children?

Thanks

We have a Britax 123. Mine used it with the harness until they started in the reception year at school but not sure if they could have used it for even longer. They still use the high back now as I like it for safety and the eldest is 11 nearly 12. He is not particularly tall so he likes it to see more out if the windows and for comfort. Fantastic investment and when we bought it it had a very high safety rating with which.

We use a crelling harness for dc with special needs.

You need a 25kg seat. Rear facing is still far safer if you'd look at the Britax Two Way Elite or the Axkid Minikid. Or forward facing you've got the Joie Bold or Excalibur Cosy and Safe - both of these need isofix and top tether though. Or the Diono Radian is rear and forward facing.

If he's getting out of the seatbelt then he's not mature enough for a high back booster yet.
