123 ISOFIX without a top tether?

Thinking of getting 2yo DD a new car seat for when sibling arrives in the summer as she's in the 2-way pearl but the new one will steal her maxi-cosi base for the pebble plus. Don't want to spend £200 for another base that will only be needed for 18 months, so A 123 looks to be the best plan and we're keen to keep an isofix connection for as long as possible but they all seem to need a top tether strap which our car doesn't have! Any recommendations?

Are you looking at 25kg forward facing seats? Because they all need top tether so no good for your car.

Have you looked at 25kg rear facing seats such as the Axkid Minikid and the Britax Two Way Elite? They're very good seats, some of the safest you can get and very easy to install once you've done it once or twice.
