High back boosters..

We are having difficulty finding a high back booster for our 6 year old that fits into our car.. The issue being that the seats have solid headrests (shown in attached photo) and when the back comes up the headrest pushes the chair away..
This has not been an issue with our DUO PLUS or EVOLVA 1-2-3 as the headrest hasn't been fully extended until now..though the evolva seems ok as the head rest is farther forward..

Our 4 year old is now grown out of her group one seat (DUO PLUS) and it was intended we'd put her into the 1-2-3 and get a HBB for our 6 yr old..

We have been advised not to use isofix as we wont get the back flush and it isn't there for safety anyway at this stage. We have been recommended the Britax Discovery though have no experience of this seat and it doesn't seem to be stocked in any of the halford or Mothercare shops in our area.. The evolva has been fine and looks like it will continue to do a good job so the question is really should we buy another 1-2-3 or just the discovery?

The seats are only used at weekend and on holidays but we do drive a fair distance so comfort is important..

Any advice would be appreciated.

Join the Facebook group 'car seat advice for mummies and daddies' posting your car details. They are car seat experts and should be able to point you in the direction of something that fits the shape of your seats.

You could try contacting the In Car Safety Centres. There's one in Milton Keynes and Belfast but they give good advice over the phone and can get seats delivered quickly.

What model of car do you have? Our car has a v similar set up and we have a Britax romer sict which is listed as compatible for my car on the Britax website.

It's a Tesla model S we've tried the Recaro Monza and britax kidfix SL but the woman in Mothercare said she wouldn't be happy with the fit..

Will try the other recommendations of who to ask, thanks.
