5 point harness?

Hi. Advise needed please. Looking at a new car seat, my little boy fits the criteria for stage 3 car seat.
Do I continue with a 5 point harness seat or get a high back booster seat? just wanted any recommendations on the best seats please.

How old is he and has he outgrown his current seat?

Lots of people will tell you to harness for as long as possible, but I don't think this is necessarily the safest thing to do, a high backed booster can be good as long as your child fits into it correctly and can be trusted not to open the seatbelt or climb out.

My three year old is in a harnessed rear facing seat.
My (0.4th centile) six year old is in a forward facing harnessed seat.
The weight limit for both seats is 25kg with the harness. They'll be using them as long as possible.

At 95cm I reckon you'll have a while in the current seat so would plan to keep using as long as possible. Do you need the seat for a younger sibling? If so, it might be worth getting a combination booster with harness (group 123 seat), although this won't allow you to harness any longer than the current seat, I would say at a guess he might have a year left in a group 1 harness. They normally support up to 104cm.
