Front Seat Travelling

My partner has a Fiat 500 which has a really small boot, it is on PCP so cannot upgrade it until another 12 months have passed. She only travel short distances in her car when doing activities such as going to the supermarket, parents house etc. However, we're now expecting in March and looking at pushchairs in Mothercare today and trying a couple in my car, she is really am going to struggle to fit a pushchair in without folding the seats down. Would there be any law to her putting the baby in the front and folding the seats down if she turns airbags off?

My car is an Insignia which could fit anything in the boot so any long distance etc. we'd use my car so the baby would be in the back.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks

No issue with having baby on the passenger seat so long as airbag turned off and seat pushed as far back as possible.

Put the kids on the back and use the front passenger footwell and seat for the pushchair.

There are plenty of pushchairs that would fit in the boot of the 500 though.
The icandy peach does and the yoyo and I suspect the bugaboo bee.
