Can I use a cybex sirona without a base?

I have searched online but I can't find the information as to wether a cybex sirona m2 or the original cybex sirona can be used without a base? Halfords and toysrus are selling the m2 on its own for £209.99 without a base but I'm unsure as to if it can be belted in or if the base has to be purchased. Could someone advise me please?

I have the original and it's all in one-there is no 'base' option. It is isofix only, can't be belted. HTH
