Largest car seat with harness?

I have three kids who all have disabilities. We are coming to the
UK for 5 weeks later this year and I was wondering if there's a suitable car seat we could buy for my 8 year old. He's about 27kg and at home he is in a seat that has a harness. (In Australia it goes by height not weight). He would play around with a booster seat set up and it would not be safe. He does have mobility problems but is ok climbing in and out the car and into a car seat.

Are there any seats in the U.K. That would harness a child that size?

Thanks

No, not unless you want to spend hundreds of ££ on a special needs seat, unfortunately.

The highest weight limit on European seats with an integral 5-point harness is 25kgs.

The In Car Safety Centre might be able to help you.

My daughter has disabilities also and we use a crellings harness with a regular booster. They are not cheap but very portable and you would quite likely get use out of it at home also when he grows oit of his current seat. The down side is there are differnt models which suit different seats (depending on whether you are wrapping it around the seat horizontally or vertically). We have had ours for years and would definitely recommend. Very good quality
