Hi all
We have a 2015 Hyundai i30 and a sibercross ventura car seat. We've tried to fit the car seat without the isofix base and the seat seems too upright. I think our seats are on too much of an angel. Does anyone know if it would help at all if we purchased the isofix base? Are they adjustable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on your ISOFIX points, but a base probably won't help and might even make the seat even more upright.
As far as I know the only infant carrier that has an adjustable base is the new Britax I-Size one.

Oh okay. Thank you for getting back to me. Perhaps we should look at getting a different car seat then?

Perhaps. The Britax one does like look nice, but probably costs a fortune for the base and the seat
If you were open to a 'fixed' seat the Joie Every Stage would be perfect because it is very reclined, so even if your car's seats cancel out some of that recline it would still be ok for a newborn. This is it I have one, and whilst I've never used it for a newborn I have had my 4 year old rear facing in it, and used it as a high backed booster for my 8 year old, and it is a very nice seat that covers all stages very well.
